Terry travel trailer Innovative Design
Although the Terry Classic is retro-inspired, it still has all the amenities and features you would expect from a Terry travel trailer. Heartland took the liberty to create an innovative design that reflects that retro look, yet is lightweight, eco-friendly, and well-suited for any environment.
Optimized, Compact Floorplans
The Terry Classic features a queen-sized bed and comfortable furnishings. The Terry Classic has a private bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen that rivals RV kitchens. You will never want to leave it.
Nostalgia without Being Old
Retro-looking RVs are often avoided by RVers because they are heavier, more expensive, and can have technical issues that are more difficult for them to repair. The Terry Classic eliminates all of these concerns. The Terry Classic has a retro look, but is extremely modern to fit your lifestyle on the road or at the RV park.
1978 Terry Terry travel trailer
Over the years, I have seen many homeowners become stressed about choosing the right colors for their new homes. Project Terry, a renovation of a 1978 Terry travel caravan, was a different story. It was simple to make the exterior, as the plan required that the original color scheme be kept and the theme of the vintage trailer.
The interior color scheme was more flexible than the original, so it was clear that it needed to be updated. The original interior was dominated in 1970s burnt orange. We simply visited new Terry travel trailer models at local RV dealers to get ideas for our decor. We settled on a scheme that was similar to the 2014 Salem Terry travel caravan.
The benefits of owning a park model
It can be as daunting as shopping for a car to buy an RV. It is important to narrow down your search by make and model, decide on the right size for you, and work within a budget. There are several easy ways to determine which RV type is best for you. A Terry travel trailer is great for lightweight towing and simple set-up at your campsite. A fifth wheel is a great option for those who want high-end amenities and comfortable features that make long trips more manageable. Toy haulers are loved by adrenaline junkies looking for thrills and spills. Park model RVs (also known as destination trailers) are built to provide spacious and comfortable living spaces for long stays. Park model RVs can be like your own private cottage, a second home. Although you won’t be seeing as many park models on the road as Terry fifth wheels or travel trailers, they offer lots of unique features that other RV owners don’t have. Let’s look at some of the advantages that a park-model RV offers to help you decide if it is right for you.
